Guardian Fatigue Intervention Plan (FIP)
The Guardian in-vehicle system monitors driver fatigue and distraction. When a verified fatigue event occurs, Guardian Centre Analysts contact the nominated FIP contacts by phone and email through Guardian Live.
Contact Process
- Each FIP includes up to three (3) nominated contacts.
- Each contact is called at least two times before escalating to the next person.
- An email is also sent outlining the actions taken and a link to the event.
